When Logic Prevails « Result #2 on Mar 23, 2009, 3:24am »
Two nuns went out of their convent for a walk. One of them is known as Sister Mathematical (SM) and the other one is known as Sister Logical (SL). It was getting dark and they were still far away from the convent.
SL: Have you noticed that a man has been following us for the past half-hour?
SM: Yes, I wonder what he wants.
SL: It's logical. He wants to rape us.
SM: Oh, no! At this rate he will reach us in 15 minutes at the most. What can we do?
SL: The only logical thing to do of course is to walk faster.
SM: It's not working.
SL: Of course it's not working. The man did the only logical thing. He started to walk faster too.
SM: So, what shall we do? At this rate he will reach us in one minute.
SL: The only logical thing we can do is split. You go that way and I'll go this way. He cannot follows us both. So the man decided to follow Sister Logical.
Sister Mathematical arrives at the convent and is worried what has happened to Sister Logical. Then Sister Logical arrives.
SM: Sister Logical! Thank God you are here! Tell me what happened!
SL: The only logical thing happened. The man couldn't follow us both, so he followed me.
SM: Yes, yes! But what happened then?
SL: The only logical thing happened. I started to run as fast as I could and he started to run as fast as he could.
SM: And?
SL: The only logical thing happened. He reached me.
SM: Oh, dear! What did you do?
SL: The only logical thing to do. I lifted my dress up.
SM: Oh, Sister! What did the man do?
SL: The only logical thing to do. He pulled down his pants.
SM: Oh, no! What happened then?
SL: Isn't it logical, Sister? A nun with her dress up can run faster than a man with his pants down........
89 SHO quits running intermittently « Result #3 on Oct 13, 2007, 9:55pm »
I have a 1989 SHO that has quit on me while driving twice over a 4 month period. Otherwise, I drive the car daily and have no problems. It has happened on warmer days after driving approx 30 minutes. Starts bucking at highway speeds and will stall eventually as speeds slow or coming to a stop. It will restart for a moment usually but stalls out again(sounds like it is starving for gas). Can't drive more than a few hundred feet at best. If I leave the car for a few hours, it will start/run fine again for a long span(few months). I was thinking CPS possibly but the tach has always worked. I was told that the tach would quit if it was the CPS. Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

ya after sitting the tank can get moisture and it could be settlement from the gas tank too, check your inline filters again (also if you have a filter in the tank check it too)it may take a few rounds to get everything out of the system, sometimes pouring a lil rubbing alchol in the tank dries up the water in it. worth a shot before spending a bunch of money on stuff not necessary.

your sensor is probly out, it is located somewhere either along the front or backside of the door and most likely connects under the front dash, look at a wiring chart for the exact location of your sensors
